Cool concept! I like the way you're emphasizing the name Birding Aboard.

That's what Diana is really looking for ... a wordmark-style logo, similar to your ITGeek and Tippy Toes.

Can we see some variations with the words Birding and Aboard "side-by-side" and "stacked"? Maybe with the species of birds mentioned in the contest description (albatross, storm-petrel, tropicbird) "flying" as the i's in Birding. And the other contest descriptors somehow highlighted and worked into the Aboard text block (binocular shapes, survey checklist and boxes, etc.).

And sorry, my mistake, the sub-text would be better if ordered "Binoculars and Cameras" versus the other way around.

Just some ideas ... Thank you!

I like how you're emphasizing the words Birding and Aboard. Hers is a small organization and will not have the money to make a strong graphic memorable. The words are the big deal here. But pretty sure the "recycle" bird and camera aperture blade graphic is not going to work for her and her organization.

We need to use the words Birding and Aboard and incorporate one or two of her organizations descriptor graphic possibilities (seabirds, binoculars, camera, oceans and globe, survey tally sheet, check mark, etc.).

Can we please see some new variations? Maybe two circles representing binoculars? Maybe big so that one eyepiece is above the word Birding and the other is above the word Aboard?

That would then essentially give you one circle for a planet earth globe with oceans or what not ... and the other circle to "see" a bird in?

That would also allow you to "paint" the globe to give the overall concept more color and impact. Like your concept's simplicity and we should definitely stay away from fine lines and gradations ... but could use strong color and contrast.

You get the idea ... not trying to break your concept, or over-direct you here. Just some ideas.

Thank you!

Outstanding creativity dodihanz!

We just ended the contest early as Diana pretty much fell in love with the Tropicbird and binoculars submission from ibot. So I didn't want to waste any more of your time. I knew where she was going to end up. :-)

But she obviously really liked your idea also and I wanted to thank you for the excellent effort and your really cool concept of the recycle bird!

GREAT work and hope to "see" you in another contest!
