I work for Dolphin Press, in Hilo, Hawaii, a company created by a woman who is blind that produces large print for people with vision disabilities and Braille for people who are blind.
Simple readability is the primary criterion for our large print work. Here and in our business we use a type font created by the American Printing House for the Blind called APHont. Stylistically it is a meat and potatoes font compared with the soufflé flourishes of many types I love but are difficult for those who are visually challenged to read. Now I must bow every day to that fundamental value and belief that is my company's reason for being: what type style is readable by the most people, how can we communicate most clearly to most people.
By the way, I tried in a dozen different ways to send you an .eps file and could not figure out how to do it, so I hope this works. One part of your instructions said sending a .jpg file was ok; another part said send only .eps.
