Here is an option you may not have considered. a word mark. The emphasis on 3d and the idea of Samuri...silent and gone...leaving only a mark...which is represented in the divided Samuri

I like your thought process and the slashed "Samuri" looks great (note - spelling "Samurai") but I'd like to see a different take on the "3D" and a red and black version would also be good to see. Thanks so much for your entries and insight.
