What is Logo Court?
Logo Court is a Designer resolution system that aims to resolve Designer disputes through a community vote. Only qualified and experienced Designers are able to vote in these cases based on their level of points that they have achieved. If a designer loses a case, all their entries will be removed and they will no longer be able to participate in that particular contest. Upon request our Administrators will review cases that contest holders feel are unfair.

Why isn't my contest getting as many entries as the other ones?
The number of entries depends on various factors: the complexity of your logo requirements, your level of interaction, and the contest time remaining. Simple, icon-based, logos will usually receive more entries. A complicated logo, such as a character illustration, takes much more time. If you participate frequently in your contest by providing daily feedback and rankings you can expect to get a lot more entries than someone who offers no interaction during the contest. Energy creates energy. Some contests do not receive the majority of their entries until the last 2 days or less. There are many reasons why this happens. Continue a high level of interaction in your contest and be patient. If you still have concerns, visit the current Contests page - this will likely put your mind at ease. As a last resort, you can contact Support for help and suggestions.

How long do I have to select a winner?
We require you to select a winner within 7 days of the contest ending. Most clients have a very good idea of who the winner is before the contest ends, so in most cases, the selection deadline is trivial. We allow a 7 day extension of the contest if you need more time or additional entries from the community. If a winner has not been selected within 2 weeks of the contest ending, we will do a final follow-up by email. If there is no response, LogoTournament Support will select a winner and distribute the prize based on existing ranking, existing CH comments and/or community feedback. This policy is rarely initiated but is in place to maintain a high level of Designer confidence and participation in our community. Thank you for understanding this policy.

I can't submit my entires, it keeps telling me that the size or proportions are wrong.
Double check image size - they must be exactly 350x280 px; some programs exporting to JPG/PNG/GIF occasionally miss a pixel width/height due to compression. Changing your DPI to 72, 96 or other will likely solve the problem. Check the default DPI value for your art board - export at the same DPI. In Windows, right click on the file, and view the properties. Quick edits can be made to entries with MSPaint or similar programs.

Why can't I submit logos in PSD? Everyone uses Photoshop!
First, it is our policy. We believe that the only acceptable format for Clients' logos are vectors. They offer the most versatility and look the best across many applications. All the Designers on this site use Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, FreeHand or any of the opensource vector programs. Final files are always submitted as true EPS vectors.

I just won, how can I get paid?
Currently, all prizes are pre-paid through Paypal as it is the largest payment system in the world. Upload the final files, then wait for the Client to approve them through our system. This is a good time to follow up with the client to see if you can offer any revisions. Once the Client approves the files, you will automatically receive a Paypal payment less the LogoTournament commission (15% ). Make sure you have the correct Paypal email in your account settings.

The CH hasn't released the prize funds - what is the procedure?
Try to contact client via PM to see if there is any help you can provide. Sometimes, CHs must involve many people with different opinions to approve a logo design. We appreciate your patience. If 7 days have passed since the you uploaded your source files, you may email Support using the Help page. We will investigate, and if required, we can release the prize to you.
