Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Thank you for your submissions!! I think we are leaning more in the direction of #6 or #7 rather than a large logo and then words. A logo at the front of the text would be a possibility as well.

Forget the slogan, that was really there for designer ideas.

Abstract representations of compasses or unique ideas combining solar and civil construction would be great!!

Our industry includes companies like CAT (cat.com), Maui Solar Project **I LIKE THIS LOGO!**(http://www.mauisolarproject.org/), Duke Construction (http://www.dukeconstructiononline.com/), Sundt (sundt.com), Aee solar (aeesoalr.com), Komatsu (komatsu.com) allied tube (http://www.alliedtube.com) etc. Some of these are well established companies so their logos were made in the 70s/80s but still memorable, bold and refined. We're looking for a modern and industry specific logo.

Hi, Thanks again for all your entries. we would still like to see some more modern/abstract logos, take a look at http://www.mauisolarproject.org/ for what I mean. #20, I like the design, but could you play around to see if you can incorporate the image into the text. As far as fonts go, clean modern text like #20, #6, and #25 are our favorites. I especially like how #25 distinguishes that West Point is two words. This is important to us. Thanks again!!! What great work and ideas!!! Thanks again for all your efforts. We are still not locked into any one design or designer, and encourage participation. It has been amazing to see the progression some of the logos have taken and the new submittals are great too!

A little insight into some of the ranking... #52 we like because it is unique icon that has elements of a compass which reminds people of our name... and also has an abstract plug/outlet image that identifies our company with solar power. #58 does the same thing with a sun instead of an outlet.

#68 has a compass as well as an identifiable cog with a W in it, which adds to brand recognition and associates us with construction industry.

#69 and #56 have an abstract compass feel which is great for brand recognition.

Our favorite colors so far are found in the following: #52, #58, #7, #69, #41, #31.

WE LOVE OUR TOP 15 AND ARE HAVING A LOT OF TROUBLE GOING WITH ONE! There are little tweaks that we would love to see happen to see if that puts the logo over the top. We're not sold on the color of #53, and a lot of designers seem to be using that lighter blue. Please use dark blue or something closer to #58. LOGORILLA and others, if you have our name as WESTPOINT in all one color, please break it into two colors. (WEST POINT). We really like #58 and #60, we were hoping maybe the sun rays could be a little more mechanical? We would like to keep the construction vibe. THANK YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH!
