Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship Alumni Association: we are an entrepreneurial alumni organization. Our mission is to unite, support, and give back to entrepreneurs and soon-to-be entrepreneurs by stewarding and extending resources (money, advice, connections).

Our Target Audience:

WCE AA will solicit support from entrepreneurial businesses and individuals that share the same vision of building the economy through the support of local entrepreneurs. Our hierarchy of purposes is to serve first and foremost the Alumni of WCE, then the students of WCE (future alumni), WCE (the program), Bauer (the business school), UH (the University), and finally, the business community at large.

A pictorial mark uses literal or representative imagery to symbolize the brand. Famous examples include:

A Character logo consists of a mascot to represent the brand. Please note that Character illustrations are extremely time intensive for designers, and for the best results the prize should be at least $400-$500. Famous examples include:

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

We like the crest/embelm style as it communicates professionalism & prestige. The original logo for the entrepreneurship program embodied these characteristics and many more, such as leadership, passion, globalism etc. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2633/3914135774_b0bfeeb15a.jpg

We haven't found exactly what we want just yet.. as far as embodying professionalism, class and prestige representing the entrepreneurs of Houston #34 & #36 are leading the charge.

We are going to have to extend the contest... Please understand. There is a catch, we are going to clear the specs and open it up to YOU, the designer, for your creativity from the ground up. Many of the board members feel that we have narrowed the scope of work and stifled creativity.

Just think: professional business entrepreneur from Houston.

Please continue to contribute as this logo/brand is very important to us. We really appreciate everyones time, enrgy and most importantly creative artistic talent!
