Color Preferences
I would like to see entries that have the letters in black and/or orange. I would also like to see entries with the logo in black or orange. Just not a neon orange. A regular orange color or a darker orange is okay. Dark blue is okay, too, with the orange. Gray is okay, maybe as a background. If you have a man working, say troweling, he could be in black.

Not see - red, green, yellow, brown, light blue, pink, etc...
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I will be building patios, driveways, curbs, sidewalks, steps, retaining walls, foundations, and footings for homes and small businesses. I have seen some logos where the logo is part of the word and I liked that. I also have liked logos where the name of the business is in two different scripts. Like the Warne-T could be in one script and the Concrete Construction is in another script. I would like to see some contest entries where all the letters of Warne are attached to each other, too.

Putting a person working in the logo is okay - man with no hat, short hair. He could be using a trowel. It wouldn't have to be the whole body, it could be just the head, shoulder, and arm holding the trowel, with him bent over at work. I would like to see strength in the man's arm, but not big muscles like Arnold Schwarzenegger, necessarily, but toned. The man should give the sense of being experienced and hard-working. Nothing cartoony, please. I would like the trowel to be rectangle shaped. A silhouette of the man might work.

A small concrete mixer could work in lieu of the man. The mixer could be in black or gray.

Maybe the mixer and the man can both be in the logo?

Things I do not want: concrete trucks, hard hats, man wearing overalls, mustache, shovels, no animals.
