Just to clarify...we will not consider entries that do not have the following key elements: name (properly spelled...we know its tough), 4 paint colors, fish emblem, and The Eco-Painter.

Also, as mentioned in the brief, our goal is to bring that 20-year old logo into this century, so please don't transfer it literally!

Hello, Designers!

For those who aren't familiar, that "fish" emblem, the Ichthys can be seen and understood here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichthys, and it should always be displayed with the tail to the right.

We prefer no drop shadows or reflections on these logos. We can add that to the design later when applicable, but prefer this to be a clean copy.

Notice to the lurkers out there...we've seen the "mad rush" at the end of other contests. If we don't have at least 10 hours to review, we won't consider your art, so please give us time to make the right decision!

good and valid point

however lurkers is a strong word but there are honorable designers who may just stumble on this contest at the last minute like myself...

You may not be aware...you can take all the time you need to make your final judging selections while your contest is in the judging mode. :) Best of luck!

Thanks for the tips. We just finished one other contest for a different company, and it is obvious that some wait until the contest is approaching the finish to enter their comps There seems to be a mad rush at the end that seems like a planned strategy on the part of some designers.

If you're not a lurker, no reason to take offense.

We do understand that we can take more time after the contest finishes, but from what we understand as the intent for this site, that should be time spent making a final decision rather than evaluating new entries.

Please don't pull your entry unless it is in the "not interested" group. We still have a process to go through to make the selection within our organization. Just because you're not #1 in the current ranking does not mean there's not still a possibility of winning!

Sorry, Contest Holder about entry #43. I had to withdraw my concept when my logo was ranked out of top 5, without explanation what to refine on it.

When my logo is not in top 5, I assume you're far from being interested in my logo concept.
