What We Do
The Nord Victims of Terror Foundation helps victims of terror in Israel to cope with the aftermath of terror. Children, fathers & mothers, siblings - who lost their dear-ones or “just” their vitality and ability to move-on in life. The Nord Foundation identifies victims of Terror who need personal attention and help facilitate opportunities and optimism back into the victims' life. Be that through a scholarship, material help, commemoration or anything which serves as a positive impact on the survivors.

Non-Profit
Color Preferences
Colors I would like to see used (but not limiting the designer): Blue & White (like in the Israeli flag)
(Green is also an option)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Victims of terror tend to be skeptical about "the system" and does it really want to help them. They are looking for empathy, passion, care and a listening ear. The Nord Foundation gives them all those together with material help to help them achieve their dreams. Those dreams that can positively help them move from a status of "I am a victim" to "I am a survivor" and I will celebrate life.

Dear International Designers,
Due to the amazing response of gifted designers world-wide, in the last couple of weeks, and this unprecedented awakening in the last 48 hours of more than 50 postings...(at least for me - as your client) I have taken couple of steps. I have extended the timeframe of the bid to give everyone a bit more time to work on their proposals. I have also passed along all of your proposals as of this morning (EST time) to the Nord's to enable them to see what their philanthropic work is doing to the body of designers world-wide. I also want to complement LogoTounrament for putting together such an opportunity for us to meet you all and be inspired by your creativity and your passion to turn philanthropy into an image/logo. Thank you kindly and keep your creativity and inspiration going.

Fellow designers,
As I am about to bring to a close the competition for a logo for the Nord Victims of Terror Foundation I wanted to share with you something of a more personal nature. I have to admit that in my wildest dreams, I did not think, beginning this process of bid for the Nord’s Foundation logo that we will be getting such an amount of unbelievable, creative, powerful, emotional and meaningful proposals. You all are exceptionally GIFTED. Logo Tournament among its many virtues enables designers to “shine” and our bid was one example demonstrating it.
I want to thank few of the international designers who not only participated and put into this process their talent and “gift” but also communicated throughout the process both with me and with the Nord’s in order to better understand the task in hand. And yes, I do think that this is an important thing to do…. : Use LogoTournament as a platform – BUT also connect with the bidder or with his/her clients to best learn about the circumstances. It takes time, it takes away the “anonymity” BUT it can help. So thank you Eddy from France (our #2). And Babix from Indonesia (our #3) and Elysia (Cream & Sugar) and others.
And thank you (yet again!) Logo Tournament for enabling such an AMAZING process around the world to take place. It enabled us to meet Kim (Peach) for Kim to meet the Nord’s and their needs in advocating and helping victims of terror and for Kim to skillfully create a logo that takes the Nord’s vision to the next level.
Thank you all from your friend here in Pittsburgh.
