We're not there yet. We're looking for a Pictoral Mark, an Emblem or a Character. We don't want the logo to look like it's for a steakhouse.

Hi swdash,
in order for the contest to develop and guide the design in the desired direction, the use of feedback is very useful. On every designers page (click the design image), you can leave your thoughts, ideas and criticism.

If #63 and #64 is what you're honestly looking for, since you ranked them as 1 and 2, then I think some clarification of the brief is in place. "Mobile Marketing"?

Mobile Marketing? Not sure why the designer used that term but it was the least important element of the design. It can be easily changed with the term "Text Marketing." What I like about the design is that it's a pictorial mark/emblem and it has a western twist. It's not perfect but it's in the right direction.
