TechBridge ConsultingLogo Design Contest

Props are due to NZR for jumping in early! This helped me to realize that if the logo includes a picture or artwork, I really want it to resemble something or invoke a more specific thought about my business rather than it just looking cool.

Hi All,
Thanks for your time & submissions thus far. I have realized that I really don't want a stylized "TB" as part of the logo. I would much prefer a picture that evokes something about my business. #5 is definitely the closest to what I could come up with in my very non-creative brain so far!

p.s. I am adding a NO ORANGE criteria to the brief. If anyone cares, I live in AggieLand and this would not go over well since burnt orange is the color of our rival school. :)

Remember, I am not hung up on having to use a double helix as part of the logo. That was just an idea. If you can think of another way to convey the "bridge between technology and business" concept, I would welcome your ideas.

Hi All,
I just wanted encourage some more submissions. While I like what I see so far, I am not anywhere close to 100% decided. I will also be soliciting customer feedback on the top few logos as we get into the final days. I also wanted to encourage those who submitted logos with artwork that is not really representative of my business (#1, #4, #14) to consider resubmitting with a similar text setup and an image that invokes a technology or "bridge" type thought.

I just wanted to say thanks for the most recent round of submissions and give some general feedback. I am almost wishing I had not given the double helix bridge idea at the beginning, because I would really like to see some other ideas that invoke bridge and technology thoughts (#28 is a good example).

Also, no more letterform submissions please. I am definitely not going that route. I want a graphic that is representative of my business, not a "TC".

Hi all,
I consolidated my ranking considerably and moved a lot over to not interested to help me think through this. If you really want to be ranked regardless, don't withdraw your designs and I will rank them all as I get close to the end.

As for the designs themselves, I am not 100% sold on any particular design yet. I really encourage you to help me come up with something that is more of an all around "tech" feel rather than just the "biotech" feel of the double helix. I look forward to further ideas!

Good evening (well, it is evening here :) ),
Lots of new submissions today - much appreciated! It seems like I have typed a lot of feedback in relation to small font size. As you design (or redesign), keep in mind that this will be used on business cards, so it needs to be legible down to a size appropriate for that use.

Wow, lots of new submissions! I have a busy day today, but will try to get them all commented & ranked by this evening (about 8 hours from now). A friend reminded me that I did not include anything about the community relations side of my business in my profile...I am not sure how to suggest to include that component, but I would be remiss if I didn't at least mention it.

Howdy one final time,
I have made my final ranking - numbers 1-12. I am now going to ROUGHLY rank the remaining logos just to show some appreciation.

Speaking of appreciation, some special recognition is due to Catalin. He put a TON of effort into some really neat logos and successfully made my final decision very difficult. In addition to him, Dars, IdeazDen, CraigJ, and Pirciu deserve honorable mention for going above and beyond with their effort & revisions.
