Sundays of BlissLogo Design Contest

Fantasy football league comprised of old college friends.

We are going to need all kinds of colors for this. Our idea is outlined in the next section...

We want this logo to be in the shape of a shield/crest that will be used not only for print, but for embroidered patches and screen printing. The idea is as follows:

Across the top/the header is the text "Sundays of Bliss". One thought would be to put "Sundays" in a blue text/iMessage bubble left justified, and then "of Bliss" in a green bubble right justified. This may not look good, so open to other ideas along the top of the crest/shield. To the left of the eggplant - "EST"

To the right of the eggplant - "2001"

We are open to font ideas, shading ideas inside the shield, etc. We are also open to other ideas in general, but the eggplant is what has to stay.

Of the two, the Tulsa logo is probably the closest in terms of size/shape/layout.
