Color Preferences
Charcoal black

Brown and/or Grey, if conveying rock or stone

Totally open to other color combinations as well, but probably not green or blue.

We want to convey warmth, passion, creativity and fire, from experience and stability.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
NO traditional film images, please - we do NOT want any film cans, film slides, cameras, frames; none of that kind of stuff, thanks.

Things that could work: Ancient stone or stone tool with flash of new spark and flame would be interesting somehow. Sparkstone is another name for flint, which is a fire starting method. We want to convey that we are creating modern creative fire in an ancient way. Fire from stone, or a burning stone or rock. All of these things sound cool, but let your own creative imagination fly.

Hi guys, great start and much appreciated. There are a couple trends I should point out we might want to avoid. First, having a letter of the name in the logo isn't necessary - so the 'S' as a part of the sparking effect isn't something we're looking for. Let's try to avoid that. Also, it would be cool to see sparks or a flame leaping from rock, or burning out from it somehow, as one alternative - maybe from left to right, as if something invisible has struck it and sent a flame from it. Think of a match striking an object, and what the flame that is just bursting out looks like (but don't show a match itself, just the flame and sparks that would erupt from it in that moment).

Have fun with it! Don't be too confined by a conservative or elegant emblem if that's reining you in too much. Totally open to what your imagination brings here, since we are a creative company ourselves.

Thanks!

Looking good so far, guys, thanks. Pretty soon I'm going to bring in one or two of my partners to have a look, and would like to give them a solid range of options in terms of overall feel and style.

Would anyone like to take a shot at coming up with something with more vibrant colors? Don't be confined to the idea that the only thing we're looking for has to be understated or muted. Love to see your instincts take charge as well.

We'd love to have a range of styles to choose from, if possible. Thanks again!

I love that we're starting to see some colors in some of these, to get a full variety of perspective.

If we could see something like a stone on fire, with reds/yellows/orange, it would be great. Again, we don't have to have too much grey in there. Looks like we have a decent amount of that for now.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

One example we like (but we obviously don't own), if it helps to springboard ideas:

Picture a stone looking something like this. Anyone game to try? Would love to see this.

Wow you guys, a lot of these are looking really great. My partners will be starting to take a look today, so we will have more suggestions coming your way.

Keep 'em coming if you can! We want plenty to choose from if possible. Thanks!

Okay, the early reviews from our partners are very positive, and encouraged by what they see - but that everyone wants to see more stuff with flames or a fire element in it somehow. They all liked the example I linked to of the sample logo blazing like it's hitting the earth on re-entry, or thinking of it in a way that seems like a meteor engulfed in flames. They want to keep what we have so far, but try to see more of that somehow as well. I'll let you make of that what you want, while I continue to get responses.

But again, the take away here is that this is all great stuff and we think you're all super talented.

MORE FIRE

Hi all, just want to say again how great a lot of these are looking, and that we all appreciate your hard work. I had a lengthier meeting today with a few partners, who have thought longer about their own preferences, and what we'd like to see even more of is a fire element.

Specifically, we would like to see more images of a rock or stone somehow engulfed in flames. They DON'T have to be photo-real; in fact, we'd love to see more stylized flame elements of some kind that reflect your own point of view.

Some of that is now just starting to come in, and it's looking great - we just want to see more unique takes or ideas on the subject. We each have our individual favorites so far, but are still looking for that one logo that is going to rock everyone's world.

Show us a stone engulfed in flames. Stylized however you think it rocks your own world. Bring it on.

Thanks!

Hi all, we just wanted to thank you again, and express how talented we think you all are. ALL of your contributions were really terrific, and we will definitely use this service again in the future. So if for whatever reason one of your designs didn't make the top of the list this time, we hope to see you another day soon to try the next time, when we come back.

Thanks again, and best of luck to you guys!
