Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Remember:

Sporty, fun, affluent target audience. Let's stay away from "girlie" font; we need something strong and bold. "Good Times" is an example of a bold font we like.

I'd like to take this in a different direction than what has already been posted. The current logos are very "video-game like" and "cartoony". I'd like something more refined and professional . Remember, affluent college-kids and sports fans.

Update:

Those who are submitting just words (no marks or pictures) please re-read my Additional Information section. I can come up with a font on my own. I want a synthesis of a professional name along with a picture that helps convey what my site does. The "Red X" on my currently ranked #1 choice is an example of this. Something that will set this logo apart, not just font!

New idea:

I'd like to see some type of tryptic from someone. Perhaps a font similar to #15 with 3 boxes spaced out above it. Inside the boxes, things to do with tailgating. Something representing drinking (an abstract cup or several cups?), eating (some type of food - hotdogs? again more abstract and monochromatic). and maybe a push pin?

Entry #52 here: https://logotournament.com/contests/printwidgets.com/by/ideazden

is an example of the tryptic idea I am interested in seeing.

There has been a new idea on using a modified compass map as part of the logo. Love that idea.

Here is a link to an example: http://www.drawbuck.com/wp-content/uploads/large/compass-large.jpg

I would like it to be something substantial looking if it was used. It should not look like just colors on a page, but look like an actual physical object.

Thanks!

Ok, just updated the rankings.

Does no one want to try the compass I posted in my last post. Perhaps behind GamedayMap in the middle?

So far there hasn't been a whole lot of participation, hopefully this gets cranked up.
