Our Ideas & Additional Information
Taking a picture of someone's face is a mathematical projection from 3D into 2D. This type of projection is called 'Singular' and cannot be mathematically 'Inverted'. Since we create a 3D face from a 2D photograph we chose the name 'Singular Inversions'. Some kind of reference to this would be neat; perhaps the characters overlap and their colors are inverted where they overlap. Or perhaps some other 3D/2D interplay with lines would be neat.

August 21st, 2009, 9:47am Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Don't be afraid of some complexity in the design ... I'm a big Escher fan.

I'd prefer not to have faces or eyes in the logo since that's part of our FaceGen product line logo. I'd like to keep the company logo more abstract. Sorry for not stating that earlier.

Three things I really like:
* The clever design of the logo in #27
* The high-tech lines in #17
* The combination of tech / 3D / clever logo in #23

I also liked the tech-style font and shadowing in #15 but prefer the logo variation in #49

If there was some way to combine some or all of:
* The clever logo from #27
* The high-tech dot-terminated lines from #17
* The 3D structure of #68
That would be perfect. The existing #27 isn't complex/high tech enough, the existing #17 lacks a good logo and the existing #68 isn't clearly representative of the letters SI. We're very close...
