Thanks everyone for the entries - Please keep in mind we are not interested in round depictions of turbines, blades, or wind mills

Please do not feel like you have to use the tag line in the logo. I think the tag line makes it feel too busy

Ok - let me clarify. NO tag line please. I'll take it out of the brief... my mistake

Thanks to everyone for the great designs. I would also like to see more ideas with different shades of blue. Maybe a small group of houses or some other way to show a "community"?

We have talked more among our team and have decided we want to stay away from the environmental message in the logo... so no depictions of nature, earth, leaves, green. Thank you and please keep trying. This is beautiful work.

Would anyone like to try something new? Maybe old industrial. Think of an old brick building, a bit of chipping paint. Maybe spray painted, a little rusty. Still looking really strong, but think of a new hip, young, urban renewal area. Sometimes older parts of town get fixed up, cleaned up, and the young cool people move to that part of town and make the old seem kind of exciting.

Maybe that old industrial being reborn look and feel could be somehow expressed in a logo? I'm not sure what it would look like and maybe the idea is too complex to express in a simple logo. But I'm curious what some of you might be able to come up with. Thank you again for all your ideas. It will be very difficult to choose.
