RECONLogo Design Contest

We would like to see some sort of graphic element, and not just text.

#5 is more in-line with what we are looking for. We like seeing the blue in the RECON text. #7 is a nice design too, however, we don't do residential, so the home shape doesn't really fit. We do work in industrial plants (oil refineries, cement plants); so the same idea, but with a different enlosure would probably be something we would like. #8 is a little too busy. We are looking for something more refined. The "sketched" text look is a good idea though; we would like to see a slightly irregular font used in the RECON lettering.

To help everyone dial in the blue color. Somewhere between the blues in #10 and #5 is where we are hoping to land.

Thanks to everyone so far, we really are liking what we are seeing. Don't know why I didn't think of this before...visit our website at www.recon-inc.com to get more of a feel of what we are looking for. We are hoping the new logo will fit nicely on our main page. You might also find some ideas in the header pictures we have posted through out our web pages.

We are a little worried that #32 and #21 look very similar; especially because we like different aspects of each. Also, we like some of the more abstract graphics being used.

Just so everyone knows, we are not tied to the "gear" icon/graphic. You will notice that 2 of the top 3 incorporate different shapes.

We have extended the contest an extra week to make a final decision among the top 12 logos and enter in to a final revision period with our final choice. We simply received many more worthy designs than we had thought we would and need a day or two to make a final decision. We greatly appreciate those that took time to submit their ideas.

No new logos are necessary at this time.
