Proud Label
Slogan:
What are YOU proud of?
What We Do:
We are a fashion/merchandising label targeting specific cultural, religious and ethnic groups.
Our Industry:
Retail
Formats Accepted
.EPS only
Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Pride
#2 - Nationalism
#3 - International
Our Target Audience:
The target audience will be every ethnicity, culture and religion. We will target each one individually at a time, creating items of a particular group and marketing/selling them. The logo should be universal.
Styles that we are interested in:
Wordmark

A wordmark consists of the company name in a stylized type and may include small abstract or pictorial elements. Famous examples include:

Pictorial Mark

A pictorial mark uses literal or representative imagery to symbolize the brand. Famous examples include:

Abstract Mark

Uses abstract shapes and symbols to convey an idea or attribute about the organization. Famous examples include:

Letterform Mark

Typically uses a very small amount of letters (1-2) to represent the organization. Famous examples include:

Emblem

An emblem features the name of the company typically enveloped by a pictorial element or shape. Famous examples include:

Character

A Character logo consists of a mascot to represent the brand. Please note that Character illustrations are extremely time intensive for designers, and for the best results the prize should be at least $400-$500. Famous examples include:

Web 2.0

Although there is no official description of "Web 2.0" logos, some common elements can include: vibrant colors, subtle 3d feel, bold type, color transitions, and shadows. Famous examples include:

Please note that the above brands are in no way, shape, or form associated with LogoTournament. They are cited as examples under Fair Use for the enrichment of the general public's knowledge of the graphic arts.

Color Preferences:
The logo will ideally have 2-3 colors. We would like to interchange the colors as we market to specific nationalities/religions. For example, for the US, we'd like to use red/whtie/blue, where as for Italian it'd be orange/white/green, etc.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
The main logo should be stand-alone, but we will also want to be able to customize it among the different nationalities/ religions we will be targeting. For example, for the US, we'd like to use red/whtie/blue, where as for Italian it'd be orange/white/green, etc.

The logo should emanate Pride - in yourself, in your country, etc. The word 'PROUD' should be able to be used on it's own, but I'd like to also see variations of it with the word Label (the actual project name is 'Proud Label').

A few ideas:
1) The p and d in PROUD have a nice symmetry going, would be nice to use that somehow.
2) the O in PROUD could be used to make a globe - in this case, the letter O should be able to be used as a stand-alone mini logo
3) the word PROUD on it's own as a logo, as well as with the word 'Label'

I welcome any other ideas. I'm looking for someone to impress me! If you wow me, and we end up choosing your design, we will definitely be in touch for future projects/customizations. This project will be extremely graphic/design intensive, so make this good. It will be the face of the entire project/good.

I look forward to seeing your great work!
