Color Preferences
we do not yet have a color scheme chosen, we are about to redesign our website and will use the logo we like as a starting point. That said, we'd probably like to avoid grey or orange except perhaps in small amounts
Our Ideas & Additional Information
our current logo is on our current website: www.petworldnatick.com the concept of it is OK though we are not tied to it and it's very dated and unprofessional, we plan on update the logo and using that as the visual inspiration for redesigning our website

I like #5 and #4 for concept. The pets don't really look happy to me though, and I don't love the banner color

#1 and #2 - I don't have a problem with orange and grey per say, but I don't want to build my site based heavily on those colors or colors to match them. Also I think the logo probably should NOT include only one type of pet but if it does it should be a dog or cat as birds provide a smaller amount of the business to the store. Customers spend the most money on dog and cat supplies, then small animals, then buirds, and lastly fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

#3 is a very creative concept but I think taken as a total composition it may be hard to "get" at a glance, a little too complex perhaps?

I like the added color to #6 in #7 it helps bring it alive. I think the Happy Pets Happy People slogan is important here. The owner of the store is very attached to that.

I like the idea of #13 but it seems a little bit too youthful to me, like an illustration in a baby book I think it's adorable but might not appeal to some of our older/more conservative customers

#10 Feels a bit too techy to me, like robo-doggy, not quite it. (I don't want to sound mean, I sooo appreciate all of the talent on this site! Just looking for descriptors)

#18, dotwoman, you must have been reading my mind, I was sitting here this morning trying to think of different ways to incorporate the globe/world idea in and it struck me that making it a ball that a dog was playing with might work. I was thinking of a ball in a dogs mouth, but I'm not sure how that would actually look, your idea is likely better. I like your overall concept but I'd like to see it tied together a bit more and with a slightly more modern feel. I know I'm not great at describing this stuff so please feel free to ask questions...

I think #22 is a bit too focused on world and not enough on pets. I'm also not 100% sure what kind of pet that is. But the expression on his/her face is great.

#34 I like the globe in the "o" a lot, it has a clean business-like feel that balances the cute critters nicely I think.

Can we further refine the look of the animals in #26?

Hi Tatoo Girl, a colleague just raised the concern that perhaps when shrunken down for things like business cards, etc the level of detail might be lost on your logos, be cause they have a lot going on in what may become a very small space. Any thoughts or ways to adjust? I can see them lokking fantastic on a t-shirt or larger venue, but do worry about smaller uses.

#54 works very well as a unit which I like, it's simple and straightwforward and the globe/paw brings in the pets and world subtly, very nice

would #54 work with slightly lighter colors?

#46 is working better for me as a composition now very nice!

#21. I'd like to see the text and paws without a gradient and perhaps a little darker (don't klnow if that will work) I want to see if the Letters would come through stronger that way. I also wonder if the slogan should be slightly increased in thickness to be sure it's readable shrunk down on a buisiness card.

#21 can we also remove the exclaimation mark from happy pets happy people?

Saving as a gif. fixes the brightness problem.
