Wow. I'm already REALLY impressed with the submissions, so far. If your submission receives a "Not Interested" stamp that doesn't mean I wasn't impressed with your creative skills but only that it did not fit with my style for the company.
Tips: Colors should be really bold. Red should be really red (not orange); Blue should be bold (not baby blue) and I would also consider green (as in bold green) but only for the word "Nexus" or any logo ideas. I'm trying to avoid light colors that would be lost on a white business card, letter head, or website.
The company: We specialize in analytical equipment services. One method uses red or green lasers to analyze materials for quality control or identify unknowns in samples collected by forensics. Another system uses x-rays to separate electrons from the elemental shell which creates a fluorescence wave or diffracted wave measured by high tech detectors.
