I like the curves in the first two logos, and the blue. I'm not wild about any of the fonts. The second logo reminds me a bit of the prow of a ship rather than a building. If I'm going to have a building in my logo, it would probably look more like a small apartment building or townhouse, or perhaps a combination with a hi-rise.

These are all very creative, but I haven't quite found what I'm looking for. I like the small caps font and the idea of incorporating the slogan under the logo.

I like the idea of a band over the name, like the one I've now ranked #1. This would tie into my new website when it's launched, which has a view of the Calgary cityscape at night across the top. I also like the font on this submission.

The first two in my rankings are quite different, but I like both. The one I've ranked #1 is unique to the others, and I like the professional look of it.

I am so thrilled by all of the submissions I've received! Now that the contest is getting down to the last few days, I've ranked the top four contenders. They are a bit different, but I like them all very much. My eye keeps going back to the one I've ranked third, which is one of the earliest submissions. Those colours are very attractive, and the logo is very distinctive. I also like the one I've ranked first that uses the "L," because that could easily become the company's trademark. I like the font and cuves in the second ranked, and the blocks above the name in the fourth ranked could tie in nicely with the new website we're unveiling soon. Please keep submitting! It's going to be a tough decision, but that's a good thing. Thank you everyone!

These are all really good, especially those I've ranked in the top ten. They're all strong contenders, and I think that I really would like a stand-alone logo that I can use without the name of the company. I'm still looking for more input, and will go through all of the submissions again within a day or so of closing the competition, and re-rank all of them. Thanks again!

It's getting harder and harder to rank all of the entries, thank you! Based on the top 25 or so, my preference is for a distinctive logo that incorporates the company's initials, that can stand alone or with the name of the company.

Not interested in winning this, just creating logos..

300+ entries... once it passes 50 entries it usually enters the "way to many logos to choose from" stage. It's bad enough in a supermarket trying to purchase the same product from 100's of different brands..
Once it passes 50 entries.. like I said ....... anyway better you than me choosing ! Good luck people..

Thank you everyone for your submissions! I plan to talk to my staff and business partner before making a final selection, but will do it as quickly as I can.

i want to thank the contest holder for taking the time and effort to rank so many of the entries! it means a lot to us that you were willing to rank them the way that you did rather than just not interested or not ranked so that we at least get a point for our efforts.

thank you.

Thanks from me to everyone who participated. Here's some feedback for all of you.

The ranking process does become hard when submissions flood in, especially toward the last couple of days. Obviously this is just one aspect of my business, so it took a lot of time to go through the entries and rank them, but I felt everyone who provided a submission deserved to be ranked and not thrown into 'not interested.' As a contest holder, we don't know the designer's side of this process, so I find the comments from Letter10Pro interesting (and I thank him for them).

The comments regarding more than 50 logos I disagree with completely (sorry!). I wanted lots of submissions, and ranking them once I had an idea of the type of logo I was looking for and narrowed my search wasn't that big a deal. Some were obviously not going to work, some were similar to others I've seen and would have confused people, and others I simply didn't like.

At the end of the day, I think this is a fantastic idea, and I've already passed it on to a friend who is rebranding her company soon. Everyone I raved to about it thought it was great. So that will hopefully give all of you new opportunities in the future from Canada!

Thanks again!

just because A logo looks great to a few people on the planet - does that mean it's original?????

And regarding your comments about my comments - I don't care what you think - quite frankly.
There was nothing in the brief about a sans serif font and the intitials in the logo - That was my design.

And everyone else started taking my concept and ruining it ...

If I could confront all the 100's of people face to face who have taken my concepts
on here I would believe me..
