k i t t yLogo Design Contest

Hi guys! thanks for the entries. I definitely like fonts from the SERIF family. I think so far from this groups of entries, I liked font #55 because is a little different but I do want to some other options of cleaner serif fonts. I don't want any clothing related pictures such as mannequins, body forms, hangers... or anything Keep them coming, i will review them individually tomorrow. THANKS!!!

I love how clean and simple #78 looks...i want to see more ideas. nothing cheesy, no cat images please. this is for a high-end clothing line of dresses. it has to be feminine but NOT girly. clean and simple BUT interesting enough so it's not too boring.

sorry guys! no butterflies. any cool vintage looks can be interesting? some curvy antique scrolls? new ideas are welcome! but keep it clean and contemporary, feminine but NOT girly

sure. i feel that the word "kitty" sounds young and kiddish. i want my new logo to give the perception of glamour, sophisticated, and luxurious. iwant to stay away from script fonts because i feel that it might read very girly...like meow meow kitty. I think i like fonts in the sarif family but i'm open to suggestions. I also think i prefer all small caps and for sure, they all need to be the same size. i like to reference the example of the clothing line by tracy reese, not because i want that font but i like that idea of having a cool symbol with the logo. i want something very sophisticated. no cat images please. does that help?

Question... designs need to be made in Adobe Illustrator ONLY? TIA! :)

Any vector program that can spit out an eps will do. All artwork must be vector.

So if I make my design in PS CS2 and save it as an EPS doc that will be just fine?

No, Photoshop doesn't create vectors.
You'll have to do it in Illustrator then.

we still haven't found the one we really love. i think the fonts used are too plain. can you guys do something more creative with the word kitty? i'm not as concerned about the symbol design as i am for the font logo. just keep in mind, contemporary.

I am sure designers will try, but feedback is VERY important, as all designers took time to work on concepts for your new logo, there can be only one winner...feedback is all the rest receive.....

Contest Director what are you looking for in your logo?? You've eliminated some overall great logos that in my opion speak volumes of your brand according to your brief. It is your decision in the end and I get that but they always say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and when it comes to picking a logo the same rules shall apply.
