#7 Font combination and colors communicates friendly shopping environment we are trying to project effectively. The shopping bag integration is a very good idea that communicates shopping. Would still like to see something character based that we could build a site identity around as an option.

#8 Yea - the first designer to read my notes! You may have taken "postage stamp icon" too literally. I just meant an integrated vertical or square format with a border treatment. I like the character portion of the logo (with some refinement), but wish the font treatment and border was more refined. #7 did a great jobs at this. #4 was also good in this respect. We were originally thinking about a character to build the site around and have things like "Joe's Selection" or Joe's Deal of the week, etc....

But we are open to other ideas as well. So if you have something great in mind in a different direction please show us.

It would be wonderful to hear a comment detailing what revisions could be made to improve upon a design submission, so that, as a designer, we have a stronger sense of exactly what the client is looking for.

. #11 is closer to the kind of border we were originally looking for or something with a torn parchment look.
We like the character portion of your logo but would like to see more face detail and a friendlier persona. Maybe lose the mustache or change it. We wish the font treatment was more refined. #7 did a great jobs at this. #12 was also good in this respect. We were originally thinking about a character to build the site around and have things like "Joe's Selection" or Joe's Deal of the week, etc....

We like logo entry (#7 ) the best of all the ones we have recieved so far. Font combination and colors communicates friendly shopping environment we are trying to project effectively. The shopping bag integration is a very good idea that communicates shopping. We like the type and bag very much just the way they are - and could definitely see this as a basis for our site identity. We would like to see a small character icon to either the right or the left but not touching the #7 treatment. We would use them together and also separately on the site.

#17 has come the closest to our original idea and the character we are looking for, but it is still not quite right. We are thinking of Joe as an Friendly adventurer (Indian Jones, Alan Quartermain, Dr. Livingston, etc...) traveling the world to get great deals for our customers. His character could appear next to price specials, special offers , etc......

Again we really like #7 and think the shopping bag is genius. We still may pick it even without a character if no one can do one - we think it is that good. But if can do a nice sofisticated type treatment and can add a nice character icon it would be perfect for us.

#20 great first effort!. This is very nice, but Is it possible to see the same logo with small changes? If possible loose the bow tie, modify jacket to more travel coat or safari (hunting) style.

Lastly, but not that important because current hat is OK , But if it works with your design it would be nice to see safari style hat like #18.

#34 and #35 are by far the closest to our original concept for our site identity and give us a concept and character to build our entire site and shopping experience. around.

#7 and #30 are wonderful logo renditions that really convey the idea of friendly shopping. We are having strong internal debate over these logos as well. It would be great to capture the sophistications of these logos , but also work in a character Icon. But that may not be possible.
