hi jking could you give me some background into your business eg. like when it was established or a slogon you would like to use?

Response to jk_designsolutions - This is a risk management/isurance consulting firm for small and large corporations. I have been in the business for around 9 years and seperated from my company to try thing on my own. So this business is new and why the logo is important to me. I want to logo to convey a message of a long established business with a professional look. The logo will go on a website, business cards and marketing material.

I would really like to incorportate the concept of somthing old becoming new.

I am not sure how I feel about about a logo being combined with a slogon but this what I think the slogon would be - Janus Risk Solutions "Where Understanding the Past is Knowing the Future"

To all Designers - I am looking for more than just initials with the company name.

To all Designers - Just food for though. I anticipate when the time comes for deciding on the logo I would probably be looking also for a symbol that can stand by itself without the name to allow for multi use.

To all Designers - I am looking for a pictoral markl/emblem that is creative and somewhat resembles the concept of the name Janus. Janus was frequently used to symbolize change and transitions such as the progression of past to future, of one condition to another, of one vision to another.

To all Designers - any alternative ideas besides the two face concept?

To all Designers - any ideas for a world globe divided showing an old world map and something new on the other side. I believe if it morphed in the middle it may be better. Just a thought.

Just in my opinion,
I think Janus faces as concept should be in opposite not in facing each other.

To all Designers - as any new entries may come in please consider I would like to convey the following in the design.

1. Strength & Protection.
2. Concerpt of Janus (Transition or Change / Past and Future).
3. Trust
4. Growth & Wealth.
5. World if it fits.
