To inspire you further, I deal with the whole range of IT communications networks, from global (satellites and cables) to local (4G and radios) as well as all the Infrastructure that send traffic over them (mobile devices, desktops to data centres) from Land, Sea and Air.

"Hytsio Aboa" is quite hard to say. So I like the acronym HAL, which is much easier to say.

If you are wondering, the full name "Hytsio Aboa" stands for 'Have you tried switching it off and back on again", the apocryphal first response given to staff by their help desk when contacted about an incident with their organisation's IT.

Looking at the designs, my friends have suggested that the slogan I put in the brief is too long for use in a logo and that it should be shortened to...
"Achieving ICT transformation"

Please consider this as an alternative slogan in any design ideas.

Many thanks for your hard work everyone.

Hi everyone.

Thank you all for your excellent designs and responding to feedback.
It has been difficult to select the top 5 designers for the judging phase. I would like to pick 6 or 7!

However, after a lot of thought, I have placed the top 5 designers in Rank positions #1-5 (not in any particular order as there are merits with each designer's work). I have then ranked the top three of my favourite designs from each designer.

I know that some of you are still responding to feedback but I have to go out and may not be able to change this before the judging phase begins.

Again, a big thank you to all the designers who have participated. I have been very pleased with the standard of the designs, the many creative ideas and response to feedback.

Hi everyone. I am unavailable to provide much feedback today as I am spending time with my family.
I am asking friends and family to provide comment - it is so varied.

The common positives are:
The use of the acronymn and the full name.
Simplicity and minimal number of colours is also featuring.

Best regards,
Stefan

Hi everyone,

I have had feedback from friends and family. So far the general consensus is that any of the top five design ideas would be excellent logos. Everyone has their favourite.

My decision will be based on which design I feel has the strongest combination of:
1) graphic idea (incorporating acronym)
2) style of company full name text

The graphic design element has to be strong and clear and not make the acronym 'HAL' hard to read.

The company full name text needs to highlight the three parts Hytsio Aboa Ltd, so that it is obvious that HAL is an acronym of the full name.

I feel designs #140 'light bulb', #116 'peel' and #123 'arc/radio' achieve this and I am working with the designer's of #115 and #152 to make some minor changes before making a final decision.

Thank you everyone and please be patient - it is a tough choice.
