#2 Could you try the LA in white to the right of Hardbody instead of underneath? Also, a different font style for the LA.

#9 could you try the LA without the red box?

Overall liking the designs with more black and white, with blue or silver as a shadow or accent color. Not really liking the reds greens and blues.

Would like to see the dark and bold "Hardbody" lettering of #11 done in the style of #15 with the white "LA" to the right side. Was also thinking the "LA" might look good in a kind of "Dodger blue" shade similar to the blue in #16. I'd also like to see what the whole thing looks like with a polished chrome or metallic effect put to it and/or on a badge-like metallic emblem. Thanks for your submissions so far everyone.

#16 and #19 don't like the fonts.

Can #44 be done with a little darker lettering or more contrast? I like the sporty look, but in a smaller size the letters don't read as easily. I like #33 and #34, wondering if a little more dimension can be added to make it not so flat. I like the extra touch of #42, but think it might portray too much of a heavy weight lifting vibe. Not opposed to sporty extras that are worked into the lettering. Also open to doing something with the lettering HBLA worked in. Can #14 be done similarly but with some more color to it? #46 is too dark and heavy. Really want something with depth that jumps off the page a little more. These are coming along, but seem too flat. Thanks again for the good efforts.

Certainly didn't intend to encourage anyone to copy your work mburney. Honestly, I never really paid much attention to who was submitting the work, only the designs themselves. I'm just saying what grabs me or what I'd like to see added or changed. There are only so many ways to put bold font, silver, blue and black colors, and a contrasting "LA" together it seems. I like some of these ideas from different designers, but think it still needs to be more than just the lettering by itself. The simplicity works, but how about putting it on a seal, or enclosing it in an oval of some kind, or adding some brush strokes that set it off? If I compare these to the other #1 choices in the sports and recreation category, it looks unfinished. Kudos to #53 for breaking out of the mold, but the fonts and colors don't work for me.

#58 can you make the "Hardbody" lettering stand out a bit more and do both of the outer plates on the dumbell in black? I think it would make the big "H" stand out more. #57 is more blue than I like and the LA county shape throws me a little. I live here and I never knew what shape LA county was! I kind of like the dumbell insignia 'cause it looks like a big "H." I didn't think I would, but if it looks like the company letters, that could be really cool. Might be tough to make HBLA look like a dumbell without it being a stretch. #56 is still my favorite so far 'cause it's pretty simple, but the colors contrast well and it reads nicely. Thanks for putting the time in everyone.

Sure, I agree with changing the lettering to be more stands out. Just notice this message here instead of on my page. Will do the changes.
