I posed three new files today that may or may not help.I am not stuck on any of them.Just trying to help

1.This picture of a roof design which was used almost exclusively in Golfito by the banana company.I thought just the open roof top of this building could be used in the design and that would say Golfito to the Costa Rican people.

2.This picture is a design I made from a map of the area.I am not a designer so this is not a good design just an idea.I think it is a unique shape and I thought maybe a map of the area could be incorporated to or be the logo?

3.The 3rd picture is of an African Palm tree which is what was planted when the chiquita banana company left. This is a big part of the agriculture of the area

I put here the BE logo file as one example of a logo I like from a similar project in golfito that died and was never built.I do not own the rights to this logo but it is very possible I could buy them. I like this because it says Golfito to me because of the water at the bottom the mountains and the palm trees.I also thought the reflection of the moon was real cool.Maybe this logo will help create another style using some of the ideas?

~~ What's active participation? It's updating the brief with more information for Designers to work with as the contest progresses, providing feedback to Designers on their entries when they're submitted, and ranking designs at least once a day.
~~ When you provide feedback to Designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ Rank designs at least once each day -- this will encourage Designers to submit more entries!
~~ Ranking prevents your contest from going idle! Active contests attract more Designers.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed. Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: http://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Please note: if you're asking for a design that will require several hours to create, to attract Designers willing to invest that amount of time the prize should be at least $400-$500. All "Character" style logos fall into this category.

I would like someone to do a design similar to the BE logo example pdf That I posted with the Mountain to the back drop to the bay I also loved the reflection of the moon on the water.and the palms That picture really says Golfito.

Rank # 1 - Design 152
1. Please add #166 updated interior circle image to replace old circle image in 152.
2. Please change the blue outline color in the circle image to brown to #152.
3. Increase "Golfito Bay" font size by 6pts and increase costa rica so its half the size.
4. Move "Golfito Bay" font down at least 5 pixels from the emblem. It's to close right now.

1. Please reduce the number of banana leaves. Too many.
2. Give the banana leaves some roundness and less tears.
3. Remove house/roof out of circle design so the moon, mountain and water show only.

Overall the logo is interesting, would like to see it simplified so its clean and upscale looking. Thank you.
