I didn't put thins in the contest brief but this logo will be embroidered on shirts. So we will be looking for things that have texture and will look good embroidered on shirts.

We uploaded a couple of logos that we really like because of the simple style. Also consider elegant abstract marks like Mercedes-Benz or Mazda. Something that could be beveled or texturized in some way to give a more striking look while still being easily recognizable without texture. Many automobile maker logos capture this idea very well.
