Don't want this to be too busy. In fact, on many mugs, the only printing you can get is one-color. Can we just see some cleaned up lines, simple font that implies are our message.. we're having a Field Day doing what we do.

We're not looking for something totally new. We want to use the boots found at field.day.sandy@gmail.com. The larger boot sole in particular. We like it exactly the way it is. The smaller boot may need to be a bit larger. It somehow looks a bit comical compared to the other one.. but we've done what we can do.
We like the font on the sweatshirt picture, but the positioning is lousy. "Inc." is way too small. Maybe it could be smaller than "Field Day" but not that much.. maybe not at all. On an angle, underneath???

Bottom line: We want to use Gary's drawing of the boot. This is a fun logo for us for give-aways. Not trying to sell houses with this logo. Just don't have the time or the computer skills to get the font right, and got tired of dealing with the smaller boot. Thanks!

Like the positioning of the boots. Like the text underneath the boots... but also like what you did with the shadow in #4 & #5. That gave it some nice dimension.

Fun seeing color on the boots!

We need the smaller boot... which is a great size in #6, to look a bit more rugged. A bit wider, dark sole?

Would like to see some variations on fonts and positioning of "Field Day, Inc."

Things we're wanting:
The lettering to appear more on the playful side than the serious side.
We want the lettering to be caps and small case, comma and period, just like we sign our business name: Field Day, Inc.
We need to be able to put this on cups, so even if we choose one with coloring, it needs to be able to be simplified into one-color printing for the company doing the cups.
The larger boot is just how we like it.
The smaller boot bugs us. Maybe the toes are too round, maybe the lines need to be sharper, maybe it needs a hint of shoe-laces. ??? The bottom rimmed in black seems to be the most help so far.
Thanks everyone!

The contest has been great. Anxious to see today's entries!
Things we like:
The boot sizing on Jen&Mary's #35. Like that perspective of distance.
No color on the treads.. otherwise they just seem too heavy and dominate the scene.
The smaller boot being more masculine. Brandmaster did a great job creating the treads on #105, and we like the way they are softened a bit by paulwaterfall in #106. Also want the laces to be "strong".
Like the "FD" on the boot that Jen&Mary came up with. That's clever.. but that shouldn't be overdone, if done at all.
Don't want "Field Day, Inc." to be too blocky. Definitely like it underneath, rather than over. We seem to like it a bit angled.
Thanks to everyone!!

One more thing.. the way the black coloring is used on the ankle rings in #86 by tridoso is really appealing to us.

I've got to leave my computer for a while. Anxious to see new entries when I get back. Ultimately, although I (Sandy) have been the one leaving notes, this is Gary's art work, his logo idea, and he'll be making the final call.
Gary builds incredible custom homes. He's a general contractor on top of his game, builds these huge 10-12,000 sq ft dream homes, keeps everything running smoothly, is a tri-athlete and we both LOVE hiking and backpacking. He runs the show of everything that is "Field Day, Inc.", typically in hiking shorts and hiking boots. His subs love him and our customers love him. It's been just wonderful to see what you've done with "his boots".
Thanks for all the great ideas and all the hard work!!

Just in case you have not found the hints and tips...Please take a moment to review the "Ranking and General Tips" as compiled by one of our designers (Bugy) https://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914. Also consider ranking the designs rather than eliminating, the points we gather are valuable even if we do not win your contest.

Thank you

I've mentioned this before, and will give it one more go.
I'd like to see some of the latest updates, but with coloring similar to what tridoso did in #86 and Jen&mary in #35. Both ankle rings on the big boot are black, but there is the lighter color in-between them to set them apart.

Thanks again to all. I really truly appreciate those of you who have constantly worked to keep refining and defining what we like! It's been really fun and exciting for us!
