We're off to a start! Moolala, you have the right idea. However, the look is too industrial. Our service is provided to homeowners, so needs to more friendly. Also the name will need to be very predominant since this an unknown company.

Had a couple thoughts for you all to explore:
1. Home with a forcefield around it. Maybe the ED forms the shape of a house
2. Shield holding back heat and cold
3. A crest - Like the Justice League Comics Logo

Still would like to explore more of the shield idea. Maybe the shield focuses on hot/cold.

The snowflake and sun thought is good. Needs to be even simpler. How about half sun and half snowflake. Can they be made to look shield like?

Once we can get more rough thoughts the right concept will emerge.

Keep the fonts bold and san serif, that is definitely on the mark.

Oh, I just thought of something that might help. Our job as Energy Defenders is to keep heat and cold from radiating out of the house and to keep a constant temperature inside. Food for thought at least.
