Thank you everybody for the uploaded logos so far. (#1-4).
In order to help you getting closer to our idea, we are more thinking in the direction of a classic setup: small logo + name. The logo might look a little bit more exciting as well, while being not too overloaded/busy.
One more important property the logo should have is the following: the logo (or a simplified version of it) should be stichable on a shirt.
We are really looking forward to your designs and your creativity!

Thank you all for your logos, so far. Unfortunately none of them really convinces us yet. We would like you to think a little bit more creative. Think about our business, our product and our target group. However, we would not like to see a shirt as a logo. This is because we cannot say what products we will add to our portfolio during the next years.

One possible idea which might serve as a logo is a button or a sewing needle with yarn. But: Be creative! Please come up with own ideas as well. The logo might look cheerful; but not funny.

A different idea is something more elegant.
Here are some logos of the last contests we like:
http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/Tobias.Hahn/sonstiges/logos.jpg
But don't take these for granted. We are very open for good ideas. See that as an opportunity to let out your creativity!

One last important thing we would like you to ask for: Please make use of this discussion board or getting in contact with us through personal message. You are the designers and you know much better than we do, how to describe a logo and what information you need to create an outstanding logo. ;-)

Thank you very much! Here is some feedback on the designs:

#9:
+ fresh appearance
+ nice, classic setup (pictogram left, name right)
- the dots are in no way related to the company
- overall, it could be a little bit more exciting

#6:
+ innovative design-idea
- appearance a little bit too “loud” (bold)

#3:
+ nice idea with the double-Z
- no icon/pictogram
- overall, too basic

#8:
- no pictogram/icon

#11:
- pictogram too fuzzy
- we don’t like the fond
- we prefer the pictogram/icon on the left side of the company-name

#15:
+ right direction
- but a little bit to basic, too cold

#13:
- the wrinkles are neither noticeable as “DC”, nor nice enough to serve as icon on its own.

#17:
- the "DC" looks too much like Chinese letters.

Keep on designing! ;-)

Hi everybody!

Very nice to see so many designers at work lately! Many thanks for your creativity!

The currently top ranked designs all look quite similar in terms of the fond-type. However, this doesn't have to signal that we absolutely want to follow that direction. We haven't decided for a certain type of font design (e.g. size, colors, font type, capital/letters) yet. So, please still feel free and be creative with your designs.

However, if you integrate a pictogram/icon, the so far commonly used setup (icon left, letters right) should be followed.

In order to give you some input regarding icon/pictrogram designs, we generally think into three different directions:
1) Attributes of shirts/clothes (e.g. buttons, sewing needle, yarn...)
2) Letters linking to our company name (e.g. ZZ, DC)
3) An abstract/totally made-up icon

Wer're looking forward to your designs! Thank you very much!

Dear Designers,
the last 48 hours of this contest have just began. Please keep up designing!
We would like you to have a look at #145. This is the level of "cheerfulness" we would like to see, while still looking sophistaceted. Unfortonately, it is not very much releated to our business (selling clothes).
We know, it's a hard job to meet our idea, but we are sure that you are doing your best! ;-)
