I'd rather see what you can produce for me and I'm open to most colors. Personally green or a blue might be considered favorites while purple and pink are my least favorite colors.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Back in 2008, I started a career network to help people who were being laid off in droves to get back on their feet, get motivated and find a new job. This was a labor of love, helping people. One of the graphic designers in the group created the logo attached which I own. I'm not suggesting that this is what I'm looking for, but I did like it and it was simple.

At one time I owned a company called Access Business. This logo is attached and I liked it too.

I'm in the people business. Frequently I'm looking for a needle in the haystack or that black grain of sand on a white sandy beach. I'm a hunter who is looking for that perfect specimen to meet my client's job requirements. I'm a detective, a researcher. The people I'm looking for don't hang out on LinkedIn. Their resumes are not on the job boards. I have to be a safe-cracker, to get at these folks where they work or where they hang out. When I do find someone, I have to understand their real skills and motivations and make sure the job i'm recruiting for fits their needs, as well as make sure they are a fit for the position with my client. It is a big puzzle whose pieces all need to fit for the deal to work.

Hopefully, this helps get those creative juices flowing. I'm seeing that some logos are definitely on the right track. Would it help if I told you the types of skills for job titles of the folks I'm frequently hunting for?

The people I recruit tend to work in very business casual environments. They most definitely don't wear ties to work, at least those that I've known. Maybe on a first interview, but that's about it. I am not interested in logos that portray some sort of staunch, conservative HR organization. The people I'm tracking down might be experts, but they are highly creative like you. They don't want to be burdened by bureaucracy. Clients and candidates may still have positions in stodgy bureaucratic organizations but this is not an image I want to portray.

Many of you have incorporated a symbol with or as part of the logotype. The symbols I seem to like the most are the ones that:
~ become part of or incorporate the logo type OR
~ could potentially stand-alone and be recognizable because it identifies what the business does in a pictorial or graphical fashion

Hope this helps. Keep them coming!

Go crazy. You have something in left field that I may not have verbalized, go for it. Need my opinion because I haven't offered it up yet, then ask. This is a lot more work than I imagined from my end to be interactive, constructive, and honest about my thoughts, but I've seen some good stuff and glad I've gone down this path.
