This logo is targeted towards people and businesses that are considering moving to the city or traveling on vacation.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:
The City of St. Petersburg and several major businesses within the city are looking for a way to create branding identity for the city while also allowing those partner businesses to use the logo in a way that speaks to their audience.
One idea for a solution (but again we are open to other ideas) is for a logo that has "St. Petersburg" as its core component - along with maybe a tag such as "St. Pete - Where Sand and City Meet". Perhaps adding established. 1892. Would like to maybe see element representing sand on left side (palm tree. etc.) and then element representing city (melding into cityscape or buildings) on the right.
Other ideas can be derived or incorporate major city attractions such as Tropicana Field, Baywalk Shopping Plaza, the beaches, etc. Incorporation of water or water elemenst is also an option as the city is basically surrounded by it...
