What we do:
This is the name of a film we are providing a logo/identity for. Production starts towards the end of this year, however we will need to use the logo created to develop the brand and initiate recognition in the build up.
The film premiss is about an East End London gangster who had had big success in Marbella dealing Cocaine in the 1980's. Unfortunately for him he had fallen on hard times and is making a return to the business through exporting and selling MDMA (Ecstasy) in Ibiza in the 1990's.
The story follows his reemergence as a major player in the hedonistic drug scene of this era. It depicts his ducking and diving in the East End of London and his fight back up!
The 'COMING BACK UP' of a former kingpin to take over the market in Ibiza is an exciting and dangerous journey in the violent but glamourous world that supplies the drugs that make this island tick.

Movie Synopsis:
'The 80's are at an end. SPANIARD and FINN re-emerge from London's bleak underbelly of petty crime and drugs, to undertake a deal that catapults them across Europe to the hedonistic nightclubs of Ibiza.
Ibiza has it's own rules and delicate criminal infrastructure. An uncompromising Balearic Godfather rules and beneath him the dealers jostle for position.
Set against a killer sound track of classic club anthems, SPANIARD and FINN use their wits to survive the back-stabbing, greed-driven underworld of Spain's most beautiful Island in this fast paced, rags-to-riches adventure/romp/caper.'

Feel of logo/brand:
The preferred solution for this logo should feel edgy and of the time. 1990's house scene typefaces should be explored to give credibility and authenticity to the identity.

Blatant drug references should be avoided, we believe a more subtle and intelligent solution should be delivered. Although the movie will have an age certificate the exposure and promotion of the production will often be mainstream and we do not want to encounter detrimental legal implications.

An exclamation mark could also be added - COMING BACK UP! - But this is not essential. It may help with the dynamic/stress of the submission. The exclamation mark could be incorporated to resemble a component related to the genre.

This has to be cool. We are focused on creating an experience and believe that this movie will gain cult status. The logo must compliment this and add value to the visual execution of future merchandise.
