Big B Manufacturing INC.Logo Design Contest

I like the gear integrated into the logo...is it possible to also integrate welding/machining in anyway without getting too cluttered?

the reason I say this is because I do not want people to think we are a gear manufacture or only in the mechanical field...

Nice work guys! is it possible to integrate maybe a micrometer or caliper in any way?

just a thought, maybe toss out the gear idea completely and drive towards a machining vision, just for a different style of a logo.

I understand this may be a challenge and my input may not be the best. I am going to increase to a $1000.00 prize package to help. another thought....what if we keep "BIG B MANUFACTURING INC" in a text of its own, like most of these are. but instead of using a gear or another item to the left we use a capitol letter "B" and make it an icon if you will, specific to us. not just a plain text B but something that when the public sees it they know it represents Big B Manufacturing. just some thoughts. also maybe allowing more color would help you? I don't mind color, just nothing exotic. it must be screen printable and be able to be embroidered.

Big B Manufacturing INC. needs to be pretty clearly legible. then maybe a large "B" that has a shell mill that is machining on the "B" with chips coming off of it or a drill going through it.

the problem we have now is our logo per our web site, anyone who does not know us thinks we are "BIG HB MFG, simply because we integrated an I beam on an angle so people think it is an "HB" you can see it on our web site...

everything is looking better and better as we go on. very nice work from you all. at this time I do not have a whole lot of input, other than I am liking 3D views, but I am not 100% sold on them yet baecause of trying to screen print them on t-shirts etc. I am going to contact some people on Monday to see if it is at all possible to screen print things like this. other than that please keep up the good work. I have not found anything I am completely sold on yet so any new ideas would be great!! again any questions please do not hesitate to ask!!!!!

I do see that a lot of you try doing something with the letter "B" and to me it often seems like you could easily make it out to be a "3" instead, please try to avoid that....thanks!!
