i like the design you did for susan hilton....how the words flowed and the design element wasn't so separate from the name

#39 The hand is great. Something about the colors and/or font still aren't working for me. I can't pinpoint it. They don't make me "happy"
What if the wellness font was closer to what you used in 17..
Or if the energy from the hand was larger..encompassing or circling behind the name?

i was trying to play with the logos in photoshop to try to put my thoughts into a picture to show you...but obviously if i was that good I wouldn't need this contest!
idea one..44 but have the energy flipped away from the hand rather than back to the hand.
idea 2. Here's what I was trying to show...the layout of 39, colors of 44. The Wellness font of 44 with the other 39 words. The hand larger as if it is holding the 2 lines of the name, with an energy circle comig from the hand, encircling the name

Hi, I am still working on variations for you and will soon post a few more. Thank you.

58 thanks for taking my idea to the next level. How would this look in just black and white? (i'm guessing the energy would need to be separated a bit from the hand. I can picture 57 in b&w.
Also, can i see 58 with the blue being the green you've been using? Or a dark yellow? Unless you think it would look lousy in those colors.

hi..67 didn't say anything to me, but thank you.
what do you think about 63 with the energy wispier at the end (separating to show the energy dispersing).

Hi, here's two variations with the adjustment to the energy element. Hope this is what you pictured. Let me know if you would like to see any other changes. Thank you.
March 7th, 2010, 7:58pm
hi, 76 kinda, not quite. I liked 63 moving up better than the end falling into the wrist. I sent you an idea using 57 with the fonts of 76. I was looking through some holistic magazines trying to see what pic would stand out in the competition and read best in a small ad.

Hi, let me know if you would like the top text on #77 a bit larger or if you see any other changes needed. Thanks.

77 great! Thanks..and thank you for not getting frustrated (visibly) with my input.. I was leaning toward 63, and they were both pretty even with the other top ranked entry (which I admit seemed to hit me in the heart ). But people who don't really get what I do seemed to understand 77 the most. And the marketing in me says that the primary purpose of a logo is to quickly and easily convey the service
Good night

ask alot of people get alot of opinions. Some say the hand is too trite...what everyone uses. sigh. One suggestion was to make the energy from the hand wispier, less like a quotation mark (actually i don't remember if i mentioned that it first looked like an embryo to me..but that is because i work with adoptions). Maybe using more of the soft circle behind the hand as in the second ranked one (though I know you cannot copy elements from other design). Thanks.

85 is interesting. But I think it reminds me of the logo for a hair product. The other one I moved over because the energy looked too much like the telecom industry. Your original still resonates as top with most.

93. Beautiful against the black that is lost on white. Thank you for the input. It has a religious undertone with the star in the background that doesn't work for me. I'd suggest that you withdraw it and keep it in your portfolio ready for another contest...it will be perfect for someone else. Thanks again.

97 101..too far the other way . from abstract to too realistic. And I still like the 87 more. Is there a middle ground?
March 11th, 2010, 11:42pm
can i see 87 in pure black and white...no grayscale?

I wasn't clear..sorry. I was the energy that seemed too heavy. It lost the wispiness (such a word?) in black
