Color Preferences
My original inspiration was from Tom Pryce’s old F1 car that just used blocks of different shades of orange and yellow on a black background. I loved the simplicity and color contrast. However, I love Team Sky’s cycling colors of black and electric blue. These colors could look very cool.

I do not like green. The thing I like about Team Sky is that the blue allows for a light color to be used as a base color on a website. I am not a fan of websites with black backgrounds.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I really want a logo that is simple and is stand-alone. I would like to have a logo that can represent my personal brand without using my name as part of the logo. I believe that this is a much more versatile mark. I do not like 3 dimensional logos.

Hey Everyone,
The client has actually picked one of the logos that was withdrawn. I wish you had not withdrawn so quickly.

all you need to do is ask the designer to re-instate the design

I have some feedback from the client for the logos that are ranked.

Logo #1 - I really enjoy how the mark can be stand alone from my name but still references my initials without making that obvious. I am not sure I would like a circular logo, so maybe another version of something similar but experimenting with other base shapes.

Logo #2 - This mark is by far the most removed from my name and I think this concept can be cool but I am not sure this version really references what I do. It almost reminds me of Star Trek or superhero logo. I also am not a fan of the font of my name. Also, playing around with other geometric forms can be powerful in other versions of the logo.

Logo #3 - I like the logo for its simplicity and ode to a retro form but I worry if I ever needed a non-color logo printed or a dyesub sticker made the logo would loose some of its power. I really like the retro feel but I think we need to make sure the long term use is not compromised. This is the logo my dad responded the best to.

Logo #4 - I like the subtlety of this logo as well as the elegance. I am not sure if the one part of the A is supposed to be a bird, but I really like how the designer used something outside of motor sports to illustrate speed and strength and allowing the audience to make the connection. However, maybe a logo slightly more abstract from my first initial will be better.
