#3 and #4 are quite nice.
We prefer using only 2 different colors apart from white/grey.
Please note, that only "Mentler & Schmidt" are names, the words Rechtsanwälte and Abogados are the business description (which is the German and Spanish term for lawyers).

Thanks for the new proposals. In general we are looking for more harmony, unity, connection between the symbol and the text of the logo.
Out of the portfolio of the legal logos of other competitions, we like very much clients rank #1: Curcio Law, Baird Law, Damman Vandrew, Quinto&Wilks, client rank #2 Goldberg Jones, client rank #3 Ansbacher Associates, Curcio Law, client rank #6 Sever.
We would like to see suggestions with a symbol in the background, like a shadow, which could also be the characters M and S.

We like font and colours of #18 and the idea of the symbol. The distribution of the characters of the text is perfect. However, the logo needs to have more expresiveness.
The symbol of #15, 16 is quite nice, the font however lacks an association with a lawyers office.
#19 should be more harmoniously.
The symbols of #9, 10 seem a bit obtrusive. The business description (Rechtsanwälte Abogados) is an important information to communicate and therefore should have a similar extension as the names (Mentler & Schmidt).

We are very happy with entry #20 as it leans towards what we are looking for. This proposal seems harmonic and interesting. We like the unit which has been created between the names and the business description. Style, proportion and colouring is really good.
Now we would like you to play a bit with the colours, for example by accentuating the characters M and S or using 2 different colourings as we have seen in proposal for the competition "M2 Acquisition" of the portfolio of the legal logos (clients rank #1).
Since the business description is important too, we would like to see more enhanced "Rechtsanwälte Abogados".

We would like to continue with both ideas:
1. We invite you to provide more proposals considerung the idea with letters mainly and a symbol in the background, like a shadow.
2. And we would love to see more proposals containing an abstract symbol. For your inspiration in finding a symbol, please bear in mind that we are a binational law firm providing legal advice in German-Chilean law matters to individuals and companies. We are competent in German and Chilean law, our clients are mainly from the German speaking community of Europe and from Chile and Latin America.

UPDATE: We just have updated our contest brief as we have decided to change towards a more modern and simple style prefering an abstract logo. This also includes the use of colours.
Please try to be creative, use abstracts, create a symbol that represents that we are a binational German-Chilean law firm providing legal advice in German, Chilean and German-Chilean law matters to individuals and companies.

Wow, fantastic ideas of abstract symbols. Can you please use more glowing colors. We want the logo to look brighter and not too conservative.
